Camron’s beef with Jay-Z

Camron’s track “You Gotta Love It” that was released in 2006 accuses Jay-Z of stealing Kanye West, Rocawear, and RocAFella from Damon Dash.  Cam also claims that the person who shot him in DC threw up a Roc-A-Fella hand sign.  He pokes fun at Jay-Z for wearing sandals and jeans, claiming that he can’t be the kind of New York because he wears sandals.  Cam points out several verses that he believes Jay-Z stole from other artists, including Notorious B.I.G. Cam says he disliked Jay-Z partially because of his “I Declare War”concert that was actually a peace meeting.  Jay-Z responded to Cam on a remix of Rick Ross’ famous song “Hustlin” along side Young Jeezy.  In the remix Jay Z never mentions Cam’ron by name but responds to the sandal comments by stating that he spends time on island resorts and mentions Cam being shot in D.C.
