Canibus (Germaine Williams)

Canibus aka Rip the Jacker (Born Germain Williams) was born on December 9th, 1974 in Jamaica. His parents divorced and he moved to the United States and lived in the Bronx with his mother when he was 13 years old. While living there, Canibus became interested in Rap Culture. He moved a lot because of his mother’s job, he has lived in D.C, Florida, New York, Georgia, New Jersey, and England. He found difficulty making friends and was somewhat of a recluse.
After graduating from high school he went on to work for AT&T and then the US Department of Justice as a data analyst. After his work with the DOJ he became very interested in the internet and went on to study Computer Science at DeKalb College in Atlanta. In 2002 Canibus enlisted into the US Army. After he graduated from his training program at Fort Knox he took his post as a recon specialist. Canibus was discharged in 2004 when he was caught smoking marijuana. He is known for his vocabulary and intricate rhyme patterns. |
