Lil Flip (Wesley Eric Weston, Jr.)

 Lil Flip (born Wesley Eric Weston, Jr.) was born on March 3, 1981 in Houston, Texas. Wesley is known for his proficient freestyle ability even labeled as the “Freestyle King” by DJ Screw and for being on of the first Houston rappers to become a mainstream artist. He is a member of the Screwed Up Click. DJ Screw showed Lil Flip that by rapping at freestyle battles he could gain respect in his Cloverland neighborhood. By age 16 he was signed to Sucka Free Records as a part of the rap group Hustlaz Stackin’ Endz; the group released an album that introduced Lil Flip to the world.
