Jonathan Smith was born January 27, 1972 in Atlanta Georgia. However he is known by his stage name Lil’ Jon. He is a rapper, hype man, and producer. His group is called the Eastside Boyz and he is best known as one of the first pioneers of the sub-genre of hip hop known as “crunk” Musik which is a combination of elements of Bounce Music, Disco music, Southern hip hop and bass.
