He went onto starting his music career in 1994 with the rise of the group Urban Thermo Dynamics which consisted of Dante, DCQ (his younger brother) and Ces (his younger sister). The group was very short lived group which led him to going solo in 1996 with his debut release of Universal Magnetic.

His acting career came from his university days when he was studying experimental theatre and appeared in a TV movie called “God Bless the Child” at a young age of 14. Since then he has appeared on television many times and was nominated for an Image Award and a Teen Choice Award.
