Royce Da 59 (Ryan Montgomery)

 Royce Da 5′9″ (Born Ryan Montgomery) was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. When he was 10 years old Royce moved to Oak Park, Michigan. Ryan Montgomery picked up the nickname “Royce” in high school were he was known to wear a link chain with a Rolls Royce Pendant on it. Royce began his rapping career at the age of 18, he was the shortest player on the basketball team, 5 foot and 9 inches tall, from this he began going by Royce Da 5′9″. Royce signed his first recording deal in 1998 with Tommy Boy Records.
