Young Jeezy making Movie w/ Ice Cube speaks on New Album

The newest single “Put On” will be coming out with a remix with Jay-Z on the album

While calling DJ Green Lantern and Cassidy to wish them a happy birthday, Young Jeezy gave some details about his current projects.

Jeezy is in Los Angeles for a movie where he plays a hip-hop artist at the center of Ice Cube’s forthcoming comedy “Janky Promoters.”
Jeezy, in his first film role, joins Mike Epps and Terry Crews in Cube’s first screenplay since “Friday After Next.”

Jeezy also talked about the remix to ‘Put On’ which should drop soon. He didn’t talk about the features but we can confirm that at least Jay-Z will appear on the track.

Young Jeezy’s album ‘The Recession’ is up for release on August 19.
