Kool G Rap, short for Kool Genius of Rap originated from the Queens, New York. His birth name – Nathaniel Wilson is a well known hardcore American rapper. He was born on 20th July 1968 and began his career in the 1980’s but had very little success. His success began when he realised his unique talent of being able to rhyme the same syllables, although with different word combinations for an entire verse. This style was then taken on by later rappers such a Buster Rhymes, Cassidy, Big Daddy Kane and a few more. Kool G Rap is said to be one of the most influential rappers of all time and a legendary rapper. After the release of his second album Kool G Rap began to become well known in the Mafioso rap scene which he demonstrated his talent with his third album, Live and Let Die. Many songs from this album are closely related to mob bosses and movies such as The Untouchables, Al Capone, and Scarface. Overall Kool G Rap has given inspiration to many upcoming rappers and has a very successful life in the music industry.
