Saigon Punches Prodigy On Stage During Performance

During a Mobb Deep Performance at SOB’s in Downtown Manhattan, NY, in late September of 2007, Saigon made his way to the stage to do an impromptu performance. Towards the end of his song, several Mobb Deep entourage members began collecting on the stage, slowly surrounding Saigon who claims he was outnumbered 30 to 4. Words were exchanged and ultimately Saigon threw two punches at Prodigy’s face that knocked him to the floor. After striking prodigy, several men in Mobb Deeps posse began throwing bottles at Saigon, prompting him to flee out of the club.

Saigon claims the incident occured as a result of Prodigy saying that “[Saigon] can suck my dick”.
