Nas’ Beef With Cormega
The beef between Nas and Cormega began in 1996 when Nas was forming his new group, “The Firm”. The group was to consist of AZ, Foxy Brown, Cormega in addition to Nas. Nas’ manager Steve Stoute would only allow Cormega into “The Firm” if he signed with Trackmasters Entertainment, Cormega refused to sign to Trackmasters. A rapper named Nature would replace Cormega.
After this, Cormega dissed Nas on two tracks labeled “You Don’t Want It” and “Thun & Kicko”. The once friends were now in a full blown beef on wax. Nas comes back with Cormega disses on “Destroy & Rebuild” from his Stillmatic album.
Eventually Nas and Cormega squashed the beef, or at least agreed to disagree.
