Diddy Sued by Club Promoter James Waldon for Assault

On Friday October 19th, 2007, Diddy was served with lawsuit papers for his assault charge against the famous night club promoter, James Waldon. A process server tried to give Diddy the lawsuit papers but his bodyguards continually knocked them out of his hand while Diddy escaped into the building. Waldon’s lawsuit claims that P Diddy ordered his bodyguards and members of his entourage to rough him up. Waldon claims he tried to serve the papers to Diddy himself last June at a booth inside a club, but that Diddy again ordered his bodyguards to physically remove Waldon. Waldon reported suffering bruises and lacerations to his mouth and teeth. Waldon is suing Diddy for $5 million.
