The Fugees are a band that grew popular in the early to mid 90’s, their style was a fusion of hip hop, soul, and Caribbean music. The group consisted of Wyclef Jean (as prodcuer, rapper, and singer), Lauryn Hill (as rapper, singer and guitarist), and Pras Michel (rapper). Jean and Michel were both born in Haiti, while Lauryn Hill is from South Orange, New Jersey. |
