The juice crew consisted of Marley Marl, Mc Shan, Big Daddy Kane, Biz Markie, Craig G, Kool G Rap & DJ Polo, Masta Ace, Roxanne Shanté, Tragedy Khadafi (aka Intelligent Hoodlum), TJ Swan, and Cool V. The Juice Crew was one of the pioneering hip hop collectives in the mid 1980s, they released albums through Cold Chillin Records, and were distributed by Warner Brothers for most of the groups existence. The Juice Crew went on to produce some of the most influential hip hop artists in the 1980s and 1990s. Their 1988 release, The Symphony, would help put hip-hop on the map and bring it into the mainstream media.
