Tupac’s Beef with Mobb Deep
During an interview with Vibe Magazine at the time of his incarceration, Tupac said that “Thug Life was Dead” and said that he would no longer live that way. After seeing the interview, Mobb Deep made a song called “Survival of the Fittest”, that included the lyrics “Thug Life we still livin it..”. Pac felt disrespected and sent a group of his entourage to harass the group during a concert, upon his release from jail he also began to diss them in his music in songs like “Hit Em Up”. On several radio interviews Tupac dissed and belittled the group until they finally returned with a track called “Drop a Gem on Em”.
Mobb Deep has continued to diss Tupac even after his death, causing some uproar from Fatal of Tupac’s old group, The Outlawz.
